I grew up bowling travel league/Pepsi with players like Simo, Sean and Anthony Lavery Spahr. Bowled in Jr. Gold competitions with players such as Ej Tackett, Marshal Kent, Kris Prather, Mike and Darren Tang and AJ Johnson. My goodness, I experienced so much raw talent even though I was averaging a decent 205 or 210 I knew my dreams of going pro were far out of reach. I wasn’t too upset though, I bowled against some of the best in my opinion.

Question still not answered. Does not having the thumb in the ball provide a advantage. ? Does it give more revs/rpms that you can't get with 3 in the ball ? Kinda like a pitcher using spider tack. If there is then shoudln't be allowed. LIke a spit ball or a corked bat.

Well im a one handed bowler but I don't use my thumb, so don't tell me how to bowl or tell me that my still or a two-handed still os un fair. Because if u really think about it, it's really harder and more dangerous

For me, it just makes sense to bowl two-handed. If you have such a large, heavy ball, and you're trying to throw it fast and knock over pins, why would you only use one hand? Just think about a medicine ball. You don't really exercise with a medicine ball with just one hand, you use both hands! I guess it might make more sense for people who have larger bodies and hands, which gives the "childish" view of two-handed bowling some merit. But then, if they willingly choose to not use another hand to assist them, why should they go out of their way to criticise people who bowl in a way that they feel comfortable?

To be completely honest.. been watching him on the PBA tour for years.. I always thought of him as an asshole n prick on the lanes... that being said after watching this documentary series.. I can see why he I the way he is and understand where he is comming from!! We def need more of these series!! Gets u to really understand why he is the way he is!! Great to watch!!

three major things I would like to say first things first belmo hit it right on the dot as soon as he gets rid of his anger mental game he will be just as good or better than Belmo second thing I know that he didn't finish high school but if something horribly happened to him I know this bowling community would seriously take care of him and the business he has in Vegas third thing is is I pray for him that he finds faith in Jesus Christ which is the most important out of everything else combined

As someone who's always bowled 1H (had a no thumb phase before I realized I was not that guy) and has tried 2H on occasion, I can confidently say they're both way harder, lol. With 2H feeling all but impossible to execute. I'd like to see funky pants, dude (who I've never heard of despite his 19-year pro career). Try to play 2H, bet he'd whine rq and go back to the easiest (IMO) and therefore default method.

When I bowled PBA back in the 80's and 90's, we had guys in the regions that were "PalmBallers". They didnt use 2 hands but they didnt use their thumbs either. They got a lot of revs and some had the speed too. I don't get the big deal about the 2 handers, they are basically "palmballers" with a stabilizing hand. If you're not good enough to bet them, why attack them. Get better and hold your own, any bowler can beat any other.
